Before I start talking about this specific new years nail art design I want to invite you to think about the year 2012. Another year has come and gone. Hopefully you can look back and say it was a year well spent. For me, 2012 was a year of adventure and new opportunities/experiences. Here is a little bit about what 2012 has brought me.
I became a mother! This one is really special to me. I can't adequately describe how this has changed my life. I love being a mom.
During 2012 my husband and I started Polishpedia.com. I really enjoy doing nail art and now that I have this medium to share my designs with others it is extremely rewarding and exciting.
Many of my close friends and relatives have had new babies.
Family members have gotten married.
I have had a few wonderful vacations with family.
About This 2013 New Years Nail Design
In deciding what kind of a design to do to kick of my 2013 nail art, I decided to make it really simple. What better way to do a 2013 new years design than by writing 2013 onto your nais? After I got done writing the new year on my nails I decided to make it more flashy by doing a silver glitter ombre effect. What do you think of it?
Feel free to jazz up your nails much more than I did. A fun way to make your nails have more energy would be to do each nail a different color. Some colors that I think would go great with a new years design would be hot neon colors.
Flashy colors really do well at representing all the fun and exciting parties that happen on New Years Eve. Whatever you decide to do I hope it turns out just the way you want it!
