This DIY Quilted nail art is one you will have to try out for yourself!
They are super cute and even more cute in person! This design is definitely one that will be noticed and admired.
I wish I could say that I 100% came up with this design on my own by like all nail art designs it was inspired by other’s creations. In fact, Quilted nail art is not a new creation, I have seen this nail art around and I just had to recreate it! One of my favorite aspects regarding this design is the fact that the main tool used is a common household item!
All you need to complete this look is:
1 small paint brush
A couple flecks of glitter
Any nail polish color
*the reason you will need more than one flosser is because the floss may get stretched out and you will want to use a new one to create the most straight lines.
There are different forms of quilted nails and this variation of the design is geared towards people who like shiny, uniform nails. Other ways you can mix up this look is by putting a matte polish top coat before quilting the nails or you can simply not use a top coat to give the quilted squares a 3D nail art look.
This DIY nail art is one you will have to try out! They are absolutely adorable to wear and they are fun to do!
You may have noticed that this post was first seen on Divine Caroline. I have been doing nail art for them for since the beginning of July 2013 and I love it. Please let me know what you think of this design and if you have any design suggestions that you would like to see.
