“You know Dasher and Dancer, and Prancer and Vixen; Comet and Cupid, and Donner and Blitzen but do you recall the most famous reindeer of all…Rudolph the red nose reindeer had a very shiny nose…”
The “Rudolph The Reindeer” Christmas song was my main inspiration for this reindeer Christmas nail art design. As a little girl I would always look into the sky to see Rudolph’s shiny nose. On multiple Christmas days I was sure that I saw a red light in the sky that must have been my friend Rudolph.
Now I am a bit older but still find myself gazing into the Christmas night’s sky to see my old friend. With this Reindeer Nail Art Rudolph is no longer limited to the sky. He can be right there on your very own nail along with all the rest of Santa’s Reindeer.
1. If you want to do all 9 reindeer on your nails, you are going to need some ideas for the tenth nail. Get creative. Some ideas for doing nail art on the tenth nail are; a sleigh, santa clause, a chimney, or just leave it as a solid Christmas color. Whatever you do I imagine it will turn out absolutely adorable!
2. Brown is a nail polish color that isn’t very common in most DIY nail artist’s nail polish collection. If you don’t have a brown nail polish, simply mix the most popular Christmas colors of red and green together and you will have a brown polish.
3. So now you have brown but you need a lighter brown for the reindeers antlers. This is easy. You can mix some white polish to the mixture to lighten it up.
I hope you enjoyed this unique Christmas Nail Art design. I am enjoying making these Christmas nail designs this season for you…or is it to satisfy my nail polish addiction?…I think it is both.
